All furniture and furnishings are of an excellent standard. The comfort of our guests being our priority. Wales Tourist Board 4 star Farm. AA 4 Diamonds. All three bedrooms have antique furniture and two with brass beds. Family room has a shower en-suite; the double/twin room has a bath/shower en-suite and the double room has a private bath/shower. All have colour televisions, radio alarms, tea/coffee making facilities. The large lounge has an inglenook fireplace with roaring log fires during the early and late season. The house is also fully centrally heated. We have a large folder in all rooms full of leaflets of things to do and places of interest for you to browse and plan your daily outings during your stay here at Bach-y-Graig.
Visitors are welcome to join in the farm activities or explore and wander along the banks of the River Clwyd which is a field-length away or enjoy the wealth of rare wild flowers and the abundance of wildlife in the 40 acres of woodland where we have now opened a trail. Records show that this woodland dates back to medieval times and Edward the Black Prince once hunted here. Another choice is to wander up to Offa's Dyke 2 miles away and enjoy breathtaking views of the Vale of Clwyd, Snowdonia mountains and Anglesey. Bach-y-Graig is an ideal base for your holiday being within easy reach of Snowdonia, Chester and Coastal Resorts. Rhyl, which boasts some of Wales top attractions - The Sun Centre, The Sea Life Centre is only 9 miles away. There are 3 castles in the immediate area. |
